Hello my Serbian friends, I'm sorry that I do not speak the local language but let me tell you my story and why I'm here.
I'm a 24 year old MtF transsexual woman and this year I have finally decided to stop living a lie and admit to my friends and family that I am a woman inside. It was the most awesome decision I made in my life so far. However I was told by Doctors that the procedure to change my sex is going to be very slow and can take about 5 to 10 years! That is unacceptable... You understand that I alraedy did not experience my teen years as my correct sex and I do not wish to be forced to wait until I'm in my 30's to finally enjoy being the sex I was meant to be.
I am thinking of getting my operation done in a different country where it will be faster, and I've heard that many go to Serbia to do it! So if someone who transitioned or is in the process could answer a few of my questions I would greatly appreciate it!!!
How hard or easy is it to change sex in Serbia? How hard or easy is it to get prescribed hormones? How expensive are hormones? How long does one need to take hormones to be allowed Sexual Reassignement Surgery???
