The International Gay and Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA) was founded in 1992 with the intention of promoting Association Football (known as soccer in the United States and football in most of the rest of the world) in the gay and lesbian community and to promote gay and lesbian football to the world at large.
The last tournament was held in London in August 2008, with the finals being held at Brisbane Road, home of Leyton Orient.
