Uza sav rizik da ce zalutali obrazovci na ovom forumu pomisliti da se radi o zaveri gej i jevrejskog lobija, hteo bih sa vama da podelim divljenje prema jednom starom pesniku, inspirisan diskusijom o Pavicu. Jehuda Halevi (יהודה הלוי, c.1075–1141), pored toga sto je napisao knjigu o Hazarima, bio je jedan od najvecih spansko-jevrejskih pesnika, i napisao je neke od najlepsih stihova u evropskoj knjizevnosti.
Najpoznatiji su oni o njegovoj zelji da se vrati u Obecanu zemlju, o istoku (mizrah) i zapadu (mi'arav):
