Canada is absolutely beautiful. Didn’t go to the west coast however am planning to go to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympics. I’ve seen most of Ontario and me and my friends go on canoe and camping trips all the time, the scenery is breath taking. In the winter I mostly go to Quebec for skiing.
Also I am very exited there is only 6 weeks left to Pride, this year we are expecting 5 mil people. I would love to go one year to Berlin for Pride.

Have you guys been to any?

O yes K.D. Lang, she is awesome. I’ve seen her once long ago when she was performing at a charity concert, it was very moving experience. I don’t think she will have any tours in the recent future.

I am not much of a beer drinker but if you know how to make that ranch salad and lasagna you can visit me any time (the pictures are making me very hungry )
If you guys ever get a chance and you do decide to visit Canada, you should definitely come during Pride (Toronto or Montreal, however Toronto Pride is way bigger and the city closes 5 blocks – no traffic and you have about 9 stages with different performances from art to music all day long for 3 days strait) you will not regretted.

When I was 14, I ve seen her video, and still remember that I was completely mesmerized, had like 50 thoughts in my head "shelookslikeamanbutsheiswoman" and when Uma Thurman set behind her on a bike, I know I was red as a pepper "whythefuckisthissoattractive"
Ergo, kd lang is responsible for my complete realisation that I am bisexual, /I did suspect before, but not in that context/ and that I actually like masculine woman /that one i suppresed somehow for couple of years, but was always there/
Apart from that, I love her music and voice-when she sings, she does so with her soul.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, mine was iffy. I wanted to go out and party so badly and it has been a while since that happened, but this weekend wasn’t it. Friday tried to have fun was already in the club, but the music was not getting to me and the crowd was very very str8. Ok I’ll admit it; I also managed to get into an argument with loved ones. Saturday had soccer tournament so basically I spend the whole day on the field and between the games in the Pub (to tired to go out at night), and on Sunday was mothers day for which I “had” to go to my girlfriends house for dinner.
Now that I look at it, it really was not that bad after all. I guess when I have something in my head that I desperately want, I tend to overlook the other stuff that are happening around me.
Oh dam it, one more thing to work on.

it feels wrong for me to be talking english on this forum. but it's okay in this thread. but feels like i should be practicing should be learning should be reading and looking things up in the dictionary. i was like that with hungarian too, refused to speak english even when my english would've been better understood than my hungarian. and now i'm learning serbian and hate myself when i write in english because it means i don't speak serbian well. but this topic isn't in english because of me so it's okay. </perfectionist>

Should I use my proper school teacher English here? D'y'all mind if i talk any which way i please? S'pose it prolly don't matter because we're writing, and I do tend towards conventional English in writing. Out loud with native speakers all bets are off.

Please write as you please, as you might have seen, we tend to use slang alot, and my wife is a Geordie, so sometimes we go use Geordie slang too

We have two cats here, Tiger and Tommy, Tiger is fat lovely boy, and Tommy is skinny wee rascal

I have 2 cats too, back home in Belgrade, Phoebe and Doca (son and mom, he was named Phoebe after "the friends" charachter, vet made mistake about his gender, but name stayed )
