Surfajući sam naletio na sljedeću zanimljivu vijest:
http://www.thecrimson.com/article/2011/ ... -hammonds/
“This new program will be a valuable resource for the campus community, and it represents an exciting new chapter in Harvard’s history,” Forest stated. “I am eager to collaborate with Harvard’s outstanding students, faculty, and administrators who have paved the way with an impressive array of BGLTQ-related initiatives, and I look forward to working together toward a shared vision of social justice.”
Evo sam jedan primjer: http://www.hbslgbtclub.org/
Our primary goals are to:
Create a supportive environment for LGBT students in the classroom, in recruiting, and on campus.
Openly identifying as LGBT--whether at Harvard or in the greater business world--can be an intimidating and difficult process. We provide a safe community for our LGBT students and their partners, and we enjoy the support of our straight allies. We help LGBT-friendly companies and not-for-profit organizations reach out to the prospective talent in our group. We hold social gatherings that connect our community with classmates at HBS, with LGBT students at other graduate schools, and with our alumni.
Increase awareness and understanding of LGBT issues at HBS and the business community.
In keeping with HBS’s mission to educate tomorrow’s leaders, we strive to help our classmates and professors better understand the issues involved in being--or working with--LGBT people. We kick off the year with a campus-wide National Coming Out Day celebration, a day when most students show their support by wearing a rainbow ribbon. Throughout the year we hold peer workshops. We bring speakers to campus. We partner with HBS Admissions on attracting talented prospective students, and with the faculty on curriculum development.
Discuss.
P.S.
Uostalom, nisu li tako nastale i Dveri?
