Bas sam pricao sa jednim forumasom kako sam zarazen tenisom i kako ovde piskaram. A rekao sam mu da ovde ne propustamo ni jedan detalj, ni masnicu, ni , ni dresove, ni igru, poene...I eurosport forum moze da nam zavidi.

Ana's Stamp of Success


BELGRADE, Serbia - Players can be immortalized in many ways, including in photography, video, websites and, in a few cases, wax statues (see Hingis, Mauresmo). But recently in Serbia it was a different piece of memorabilia that entered the mix, as the Ana Ivanovic postage stamp began circulating in the world No.2's home country.

The Ivanovic stamp, which is valued at 40 dinars (approximately 78 cents) and can be used like any other postage stamp, was issued on Friday, April 4. It is a limited edition issue with only 30,000 units, and was specially created for the upcoming 2008 Olympic Games.

"It's an incredible honor. It's surreal. This isn't something I ever imagined would happen to me, especially as I'm so young. But it's a great feeling."

The stamp is 35 x 31.90 millimetres in size and is sold with an optional envelope that also features Ivanovic's image. The envelope is pictured above, while the stamp can be seen on the homepage.

All credit to Zvonareva, who played some of her best tennis, but something was wrong on the Jankovic side of the court. JJ's trademark smile was absent, her movement was slow (for her), her brilliant backhand missed the mark too many times, and her forehand was all over the place. All Zvonareva really had to do was keep the ball in the court and wait for Jankovic to make errors. Zvonareva def. Jankovic, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2

With my two favorites knocked out one right after the other, I felt as though I'd been punched in the stomach. But there is one piece of very good news in all this: Jankovic served well. It was the first time I have ever seen her serve well for an entire match, and if she keeps it up, she will have overcome her most serious deficit.
