International Queer Film Festival “Merlinka" 2013

International queer film festival Merlinka will be held for the fifth time at Dom omladine from December 12 to 16.
The festival promotes films that are dealing with various issues of the LGBT community that cannot be seen on the regular cinema program.
The festival was named after Vjeran Miladinović Merlinka, a murdered transvestite, who starred in Želimir Žilnik's film Marble Ass that was the opening film of the very first Merlinka festival.
Besides the promotion of LGBT rights, the festival also aims to decrease homophobia in Serbia. Take a look at this year program:
