Instructions for Pride March

Pride Parade 2013 will be organized on September 28th, 2013 at 10:00 in Park Manjež in Belgrade where an official program will be held after which the procession will head through Nemanjina, Kneza Miloša and Masarikova streets, and the entire event shall end with the return to Park Manjež. The entry into the Park will be allowed exclusively between 9 and 10h through two check points, namely Slavija Square (in the direction of the Nemanjina Street), and at London (the corner of the Kneza Miloša and Kralja Milana streets).
Accredited media will enter the assembly at the checkpoint at London according to the instructions which they will receive from the organizers in advance. Since the assembly will be closed, it will not be possible to join the procession after 10:00h. The police will conduct an identification check at the entry, hence everyone arriving at the assembly has to have an identification card or some other identification document.

Police presence in Belgrade will be intensified on this day, particularly around the places where the Parade will take place and some of the streets close to Manjež will be closed for traffic. The recommendation is to come to the assembly by public transportation or by walking. It will not be possible to come to the Park by car. It is not recommended to take small streets and shortcuts or to come in big groups. The best thing would be to take as little things as possible and not to wear clothes in bright colors or LGBT movement insignia (badges, flags, posters) because the police will confiscate those at the entrance to the park. The organization committee will provide promotion material, which will be handed out at the gathering. If someone wishes to carry his/her own promotion materials and posters, it is necessary to bring those on Thursday and Friday, (September 26th and 27th) from 12 to 17h to the EU Info Center (Makedonska 22) or on Friday, September 27th to the Media Center (Terazije 3) from 10 to 16h during the Pride Forum. Only materials delivered in advance will be allowed during the procession.

Security instructions for leaving the park shall be handed out at the gathering.
If there is someone coming from another city or from abroad and they fear because they do not know the city or the language, they can contact us via email: sekretarijat@parada.rs, in order to organize their arrival in a timely manner and without any safety risks.
