So...the story goes like this...
J.Lo:
“This album has been a long time in the making,” she tells VICTORIA RECAÑO. “It’s my first album in Spanish so I wanted it to be special. I didn’t know special took three years, but evidently it does!”
Called “Como Ama Una Mujer,” the album contains a collection of “big ballads,” or, as J.Lo calls them, “those gut-wrenching, heart-wrenching, beautiful love songs about pain and loss.” The title translates to “The Way A Woman Loves.”
It’s written and produced by ESTEFANO, who has worked on Spanish- and English-language albums for Lopez’s husband and partner, Latin heartthrob MARC ANTHONY. An English-language CD is also forthcoming, which is rumored to have ska influences on it.
Jennifer says working with her husband has become “second nature” to the twosome. The newlyweds have also been collaborating on the movie ‘El Cantante,’ which tells the life story of legendary Puerto Rican singer HECTOR LAVOE. Marc plays the doomed Hector, and Jennifer plays Puchi, the wife who aided his drug addictions.
