Ima legeon filmova koje volim, ali da kažemo da su najviše utiska na mene ostavili ovi:

(Nemački) ekspresionizam odmah izdvajam, pošto je jedina prava poetička škola filma:

Von morgens bis Mitternacht
Murnauovi filmovi su potpuno autentična ostvarenja, čak i u okviru ekspresionizma;
Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens
Der letzte Mann
Faust – Eine deutsche Volkssage (omiljeniji mi je i od Nosferatutua)
Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans

Mislim da je od ekspresionizma, definitivno najveće Drejerovo remek-delo La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc. Malo je takvih filmova u istoriji i malo takvih interpretacija kakva je bila Falkonetina.
