a je l' bi moglo to da se napravi za naš forum?
mislim, sigurno bi moglo, nego da li bi se neko pri'vatio posla?
(da ne bude da nisam ništa predložio.)

U planu je RSS feed chim osposobimo apache da ne moramo da se logujemo s ulice ili fakulteta da bi ga restartovali
)

dostizhe MaxClients variablu od 250 korisnika u istom trenutku a da bi se to povecalo mora da se rekompajlira opet server (da se podesi HARD_LIMIT na vishe od 256 u config.h) a za to treba nekako da nadjemo vremena + ./configure opcije koje su vec koriscene

uh, sorry, ja imam tu nastranu naviku da kada treba reshiti neku situaciju se toliko zaludim time da posle totalno zaboravim da nekom odgovorim il slicno
Isto tako sam tada seo i trazio sve moguce oko RSSa i posle i zaboravio na temu

Web feeds are widely used by the weblog community to share the latest entries' headlines or their full text, and even attached multimedia files. (See podcasting, vodcasting, broadcasting, screencasting, Vloging, and MP3 blogs.) Since mid-2000, use of RSS has spread to many of the major news organizations, including Reuters, CNN, PR Newswire, and the BBC. These providers allow other websites to incorporate their "syndicated" headline or headline-and-short-summary feeds under various usage agreements. RSS is now used for many purposes, including marketing, bug-reports, or any other activity involving periodic updates or publications. Many corporations are turning to RSS for delivery of their news, replacing email and fax distribution.
As the mainstream media attempts to realize the full potential of RSS, the new media is utilizing RSS by bypassing traditional news sources. Consumers and journalists are now able to have news constantly fed to them instead of searching for it.
A program known as a feed reader or aggregator can check a list of feeds on behalf of a user and display any updated articles that it finds. It is common to find web feeds on major websites and many smaller ones. Some websites let people choose between RSS or Atom formatted web feeds; others offer only RSS or only Atom.
RSS-aware programs are available for various operating systems (see list of news aggregators). Client-side readers and aggregators are typically constructed as standalone programs or extensions to existing programs such as web browsers. Browsers such as Opera browser and Mozilla Firefox are moving toward integrated feed reader functions.
Web-based feed readers and news aggregators require no software installation and make the user's "feeds" available on any computer with Web access. Some aggregators combine existing web feeds into new feeds, e.g., taking all football related items from several sports feeds and providing a new football feed. There are also search engines for content published via web feeds like Feedster or Blogdigger.
On Web pages, web feeds (RSS or Atom) are typically linked with the word "Subscribe" or an orange rectangle, Image:livemark.png, or with the letters XML or RSS, usually a direct link to an RSS feed. Many news aggregators such as My Yahoo! publish subscription buttons (Image:Addtomyyahoo4.gif) for use on Web pages to simplify the process of adding news feeds.

RSS (RDF Site Summary - formerly called Rich Site Summary or Really Simple Syndication) is a method of describing news or other Web content that is available for "feeding" (distribution or syndication) from an online publisher to Web users. RSS is an application of the Extensible Markup Language (XML) that adheres to the World Wide Web Consortium's Resource Description Framework (RDF). Originally developed by Netscape for its browser's Netcenter channels, the RSS specification is now available for anyone to use.
A Web site that wants to "publish" some of its content, such as news headlines or stories, creates a description of the content and specifically where the content is on its site in the form of an RSS document. The publishing site then registers its RSS document with one of several existing directories of RSS publishers. A user with a Web browser or a special program that can read RSS-distributed content can read periodically-provided distributions. Some current directories of RSS files include Meerkat, GropSoup, NewsIsFree, UserLand, and XML Tree; these sites are sometimes known as content aggregators. RSS browsers include Headline Viewer and Novobot.
News is only one form of content that can be distributed with an RSS feed. Other possibilities include discussion forum excerpts, software announcements, and any form of content retrievable with a URL.

RSS je mnogo bolja varijanta NOVO DANAS ili email subscribinga. Vecina readera (ne Mozila) pored naslova izbacuju i pocetak vesti, posta ili cega vec. Mnogo je preglednije i bolje organizovano. Marketinski potencijal je nemerljiv (uopsteno, ovaj sajt je ipak drugaciji). I najvaznije, ne postoji spam
E sad, ne kapiram sto bi bilo sta trebalo da se restartuje. Neki od feedburnera i ping servisa bi trebalo da odradjuje stvar. Al opet, to je za sajtove sa vestima, ne znam kako se radi sa forumima.

Restartovanje nije vezano za ovo, to je globalni problem jer web server nije instaliran sa podrskom za vishe od 250 ljudi a trebalo je da bude.
Pa kada sredimo te posete uvescemo dodatne servise jer ako svi nagrnu i na jedno i na drugo ode sve u tri lepe shargarepe
