Posle 6 godina od objavljivanja njenog poslednjeg albuma "Living Proof" stižu novosti o novom albumu. Već krajem 2006. se šuškalo o njemu, ali se sama Cher nije izjašnjavala. Koliko sam čuo, Warner Bros. je potpisao ugovor sa Cher za samo jedan album za sada. Cher je pre nekih mesec dana u jednom intervijuu rekla kako je odabrala pesme koje će se naći na albumu, ali sam proces snimanja nije počeo, ali se ona nada da će do marta 2008. ući u studio. Takođe je rekla da će album biti satkan od pesama najrazličitijih žanrova. Ja Cher inače jako volim, pogotovu njen period između 70-tih i 90-tih, mada i novije može da prođe.

Da, "Living Proof" je prošao dosta loše. U USA se prodao u nešto manje od 500,000 primeraka, a u UK u mizernih 100,000. Sve u svemu, i kritika ga je (po meni bez razloga) ocrnila, a trenutna procena je da je prodat u oko 2,5 miliona primeraka.

Meni je njen dance period(Believe i Living Proof) najpreteraniji.Znam oba albuma napamet. A sto se tice kritike moze da prica sta hoce posto je poslednja turneja bila najuspesnija ikad(u zenskoj kategoriji) sve do Madonnine Confessions t. OBOZAVAM J
Ali sam cuo da jos uvek nije pocela snimanje albuma-jos uvek se sprema ,zato sto su ovo njene najzahtevnije pesme do sada.

A da li neko zna gde mogu da nadjem njen NOT.COM.MERCIAL album. Bio je dostupan fanovima samo preko interneta jos kada je objavljen 2000.cini mi se.

Cher mi je omiljena, kako stare pjesme, tako i poslednja dva albuma.
Ne mogu da vjerujem da je tako lose prosao poslednji album.Obozavam ga.

During 2007, in the seventh volume of Chrome Hearts, Cher once again confirmed that she is working on her twenty-sixth studio album. No recordings have taken place as of yet, and no release date had been scheduled.

In addition, it is thought Cher will colaborate with Timbaland in a song for his next album Shock Value II, which will also feature Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Dido and Christina Aguilera. This album is expected to be released in November 2008.

On February 7, 2008 it was officially announced that Cher will perform at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Her show is expected to start on May 6, 2008. The show is reported to include 18 dancers, aerielists, and new costumes designed by Bob Mackie. Choreography will be directed by Doriana Sanchez whom has worked with Cher on previous tours including the Believe Tour and the successful Farewell Tour. Her show will perform four times a week for a month, a second leg of the show will continue again in August.

On February 10, 2008, Cher made a brief appearance at the Grammy Awards, introducing a performance by Tina Turner and Beyonce Knowles.

LAS VEGAS, July 9 (UPI) A report claiming Cher recently married a 38-year-old Hell’s Angel biker in Las Vegas is false, the singer’s representative says.

“She’s not even in Vegas right now,” Cher’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, told People.com. “She won’t be back in Vegas until August.”

Pop superstar CHER is going back in time for her first studio LP in eight years - she will release an album of Sixties covers in 2009.

The Believe singer, 62, will take inspiration for her next disc from her favourite era of music.

She tells the New York Post’s PageSix column, “I’m planning an album of all these great songs from the ’60s that I’ve never covered before. It was such a magical time for music - groups like The Beatles, the Hollies, the Zombies, the Kinks, the (Rolling) Stones and singers like (Bob) Dylan and Otis Redding…

“I want to pay tribute to a time when I used to listen to music on my little transistor radio or on my AM radio in my Ford Mustang.”

Cher: It’s hard to put a label sometimes on songs, but it’s a little bit more guitar-oriented, a little bit more like “I Found Someone” feeling, and there’s some stuff that’s still sort of guitar-oriented, but it’s got a Southern feeling to it. You know, I just find songs that I like and then I do them and hopefully they make something cohesive.
